More Knitting, More Cake

It's been a hectic few weeks, trying to cram in knitting and cake decorating. Almost done with the knitted Christmas gifts! All done with the cake decorating classes, but I will continue to decorate cakes and practice techniques at home. Happy holidays!

Cardigans and Cakes

So I'm taking another cake decorating class in December and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Still working on my knitting, right now I'm making a Roll Edge Cardigan pattern from my favorite knitting site, knitpicks.com. You can always check out my crafting on Ravelry.com where my name is lleavid. The Roll Edge Cardigan is the first time I've made a cardigan for myself instead of someone else (usually one of my nieces.). It's going slow but it's going. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

It's almost Thanksgiving and I have a lot to be thankful for. My crafts keep me so busy! I have several WIPs (works in progress) right now. I'm working on some fingerless gloves to keep my hands warm while driving, a cardigan for myself, some Christmas decorations, washcloths, a felted bag, and a mystery project. Trying to decide what to make for Christmas gifts next!

I've got several knitting projects going on right now, but the one I'm trying hardest to finish is an afghan. You can see how my dog Lillian loves to help with my knitting.

Sofia's Cardigan Part 2

SOFIA'S CARDIGAN IS DONE!! Yea!! Put in the sleeves, knitted up the front band, put a button on it and got Sofia's cardi and doll cardi in the mail for her birthday. Love the way it turned out, hope it fits her!

Sofia's Cardigan

I have been working hard on a cardigan for my niece Sofia and a matching cardigan for her American Girl doll. The doll cardi is done, the body of the cardi is done, and I'm working on the sleeves right now. After that comes putting the whole thing together and then the blocking. The picture is of the doll cardi. I have one day left before it needs to get shipped so I better get back to work!
